Portrait Session Information
Every Newborn Session includes ....
- A session time of up to 2 hours with me, a multi-award winning Newborn Photographer with 10 years + experience, in my purposely designed Newborn Studio
- Use of studio props and wardrobe
- Hand retouching of a minimum of 30 images
- A private online gallery for you to view & choose your images from
- Your chosen images will be delivered to you as unwatermarked high resolution Digitals files with print release and as 7x5" Heirloom Prints.
- Your Digital Files will be delivered via download
- Choose your Collection below
* The Session Fee of €150 is due upon booking. No booking is finalised without the payment of the session fee. The balance of you Collection is due on the day of your session.

How It All Works
01 Contact me
Take a read through the information on this page and then contact me using the Contact Form.
02 Session Date
I will email you all the information you need about your session and let you know a suitable date that I have available. This date is flexible depending on when baby arrives, but it keeps a place for you in my calendar once booking your booking is complete. I only book in 12 Newborns per month !
03 Booking
Once you are happy with everything and want to go ahead I will email you the booking link. This link contains a contract, a questionnaire and a payment link for the session fee. Once you've completed that I sign it from this end and you are all set !
04 Baby's here !
When baby arrives if you send me on a message, I will confirm the date of your shoot. Babies arrive whenever they decide to themselves so we will need to confirm if our original date is still ok or if we need to move your session to sooner or later.
Types of Studio Newborn Session
‘Brand New’-born Session
10 days to 6 weeks
This session is, beautiful, natural & clean. Its shot on mainly whites / creams, with some black and white images too. It captures pure emotion and interactions and all those little details. During this session, especially if we schedule it for very early on around the two week mark, babs will be lovely and sleepy and curly. We can get those fab womb like poses as well as all those new little features that change all too soon. I allow up to 3 hours for this session as we will need to take plenty of breaks for feeding, cuddles etc.

Older Newborn Session
6 weeks to 3 months
If for any reason you have missed the ‘brand new'-born stage we can still capture beautiful images of your new little one. As with the ‘Brand New’-born session, this session is, beautiful, natural & clean. Its shot on mainly whites / creams, with some black and white images too. Chances are bubs will not be asleep at all during this session but that gives me the opportunity to capture all those little personality traits, and maybe even a smile or two. I allow up to two 1/2 hours for this session but more than likely we will be done in an hour or so.

What to Expect During your Newborn Session
A Newborn Session takes between 2 & 3 hours. We take as many feeding, changing, burping, snuggling breaks as needed.
The atmosphere is totally relaxed, we go with the flow and with what the baby needs and wants !
Parent / Sibling images can be included in every session ! Just keep in mind it's a long time for a toddler to be stuck in the studio.
Every effort is made to get a wide range of 'poses' during each session, however all babies are different. Some have a dislike to certain positions so we will move on straight away to the next. Like us too all babies have off days as well so on the rarest of occasions they may have an off day, if this does happen during your shoot we can discuss our options at that stage. Awake, calm babies make for the most amazing shots so please do not worry if your baby refuses to sleep we will still get beautiful images.
I have all the accessories we need for the shoot here, the hats, wraps, blankets etc. By all means though if there is an item that is of special meaning to you or your family please let me know and bring that along so that we can incorporate it into the shoot.
